Heavenly Father, we come before you with hearts overflowing with gratitude for the gift of marriage. Thank you for creating this sacred union where two become one in your presence. Your word reminds us he who finds a wife finds what is good and receives favor from the Lord. Proverbs 18.22. We are grateful for the favor and love that you have poured into our relationship. We are grateful for the favor and love that you have poured into our relationship, allowing us to grow together in faith, purpose and love. Lord, we thank you for being the foundation of our marriage. Your word declares, and we acknowledge, that every blessing and strength in our marriage comes from you. You have been faithful through every season and we echo the words of Scripture Great is your faithfulness. Lamentations 3.23. Thank you for guiding us through both the joys and challenges of life. Father, we are grateful for the strength you have given us to endure life's trials together. Your word assures us I can do all this through him who gives me strength.
Speaker 1:Philippians 4.13,. And we have seen your hand uphold us time and time again. Thank you for teaching us how to love one another deeply, with a love that is patient and kind, just as described in 1 Corinthians 13.4. You have shown us how to honor and cherish each other, building our relationship on wisdom and grace. Thank you, lord, for the unity and peace you bring to our home. Your word says and over all these virtues, put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. Colossians 3.14. And we rejoice in the harmony you have given us. Thank you for the joy that fills our hearts and strengthens our bond. As your word reminds us, a cheerful heart is good medicine. Proverbs 17.22. We celebrate the laughter, memories and moments of happiness. You have blessed us with, lord. We are especially thankful for the gift of forgiveness in our marriage. Your word encourages us to forgive as the Lord forgave you. Colossians 3.13. And we praise you for the healing and reconciliation that forgiveness brings. You have taught us to extend grace to one another, just as you have extended grace to us. Thank you for nurturing spiritual growth in our marriage, reminding us to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior. 2 Peter 3.18.
Speaker 1:Jehovah-jireh, we thank you for providing for all our needs. Your word promises and my God will meet all your needs. Philippians 4.19. And we are living testimonies of your provision. Thank you for the roof over our heads, the food on our table and the resources to sustain our family. We are also grateful for the blessing of children. As your word declares, children are a heritage from the Lord Psalm 127, verse 3. Thank you for entrusting us with the privilege of raising and guiding these precious lives.
Speaker 1:Father, we thank you for the legacy of love and faith you are building through our marriage. Your Word commands us to impress them on your children Deuteronomy 6.6,. And we are honored to pass on a foundation of godliness and truth to future generations. Thank you for blessing our home with peace and prosperity, as your word says the Lord blesses the home of the righteous Lord. We are grateful for the emotional intimacy and deep connection we share. Your word reminds us that a cord of three strands is not quickly broken Ecclesiastes 4.12. And we thank you for knitting our hearts together in love and understanding. Thank you for teaching us to communicate with grace and wisdom, as your word says. Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt Colossians 4.6. Thank you, father, for the shared dreams and goals that unite us as a couple. Your word declares two are better than one because they have a good return for their labor Ecclesiastes 4.9. And we praise you for the vision and purpose you have placed in our hearts, and we praise you for the vision and purpose you have placed in our hearts. Thank you for the spiritual fellowship we enjoy, knowing that where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them. Matthew 18, 20.
Speaker 1:Lord, we thank you for cultivating a spirit of gratitude in our marriage. Your word commands us to give thanks in all circumstances 1 Thessalonians 5.18, and we rejoice in the joy and peace that gratitude brings. Thank you for the times of celebration, as your Word encourages us to rejoice with those who rejoice Romans 12.15. We are also grateful for the times of testing that have strengthened our faith and perseverance. As your Word says, suffering produces perseverance, perseverance, character and character hope. Romans 5.3.4. Finally, lord, we thank you for the promise of eternity where we will stand united in your presence. Your Word assures us, and so we will be with the Lord forever 1 Thessalonians 4.17. And we look forward to the day when our love is perfected in your glory. Until then, we commit our marriage to you, trusting that you will continue to lead, bless and sustain us In Jesus' name, amen.
